Web Design:A great website start with a great domain name

Over the past 10 years, web design has come a long way. And it continues to change rapidly each year. As a graphic designer, the web was a great new medium to explore, learn and enjoy. A whole new art form is being forged with new software programs like Macromedia Flash which allows artists to express their creativity in new ways.

Developing a website seven years ago was a big task; however, it felt like the website had a longer lifespan. These days, clients want to constantly update their website and its functionality with shopping carts, forums, live chat and more. As a developer, I even spend a lot of time showing my clients how they can design and update their own websites without knowing any HTML at all. This allows them to save a lot of money, have more control over their website, and not have to wait for their webmaster (me) to change it for them.

A website does not have to be about a business. A single page website is a great modern tool to help sell your home, announce the arrival a newborn, or even just tell people about your hobby. I have developed many different types of websites for people from single pages to large sites which are developed with a team of people, each with their own specialty.
